However, with the update back in July and today's updates, Square Enix seems to be showing more commitment to these ports, a welcome and encouraging sight for the growing PC segment of the Kingdom Hearts community. Previously, the development team was rather mute on support and fixes for the PC versions of the series, despite a growing number of reports amongst the community regarding the stability of nearly all the titles in the series, resulting in the #FixKHonPC trend online. Today's updates bump up HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX to version 1.0.0.8 and HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue to version 1.0.0.5, and fix various issues that have been reported in both titles as well as improving the stability of each. Square Enix tonight announced that patches had released for the PC versions of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in the Epic Games Store.
